How to Adjust the Honda Click 125i and Click 150i Valves

Bikerstroke – welcome back to our blog, the topic of this article is how to adjust the Honda Clik 125 and Clik 150 valves. Adjustment and valve checks are carried out every 4 months or 4,000 kilometers on a motorcycle. Correct valve adjustment, done when the engine is still cold. In addition, the size of the valve gap must also really fit. So that the engine provides its best ability when driving. The size of the Honda Clik 125 and Clik 150 valve gaps is 0.10 mm for the intake valve and 0.25 mm for the exhaust valve. Before we adjust the valve on the Honda Clik 125 and 150i, we prepare the equipment first. Among them are T 10 mm, T8 mm, key ring 8-9 mm, L kapet and fuller guage. Ok bro, let's just do it.

How to Adjust the Honda Click 125i and 150i Valves

The first step I will take is to remove the body cover and seat trunk using a plus (+) screwdriver and a 10 mm T wrench.

Then use a 10 mm T wrench to remove the cylinder head cover.

Then use an 8 mm T wrench to remove the CVT cover and turn the front pulley by hand or a 22 mm ring wrench.

Position the top compression by looking at the position of the cam shaft and the valve in.

Next measure the valve gap in and ex, using a fuller gauge. If the valve gap is different from the tolerance limit from Honda, then adjust the valve.

To adjust or change the valve gap, you can loosen the 9 mm nut using a 9mm ring wrench.

After that turn the valve setting to the right to close the gap and the left to loosen the valve gap.

If the valve gap is right, then we can tighten the 9 mm nut that we loosened earlier.

Use the L cap on the valve setting so that the valve setting does not rotate when we tighten the 9 mm nut.

The next step is to check the valve gap again.

Replace the cylinder head cover and CVT cover.
